Key Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary, patient-centered pulmonology care through regular patient rounds in skilled nursing facilities.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of diseases and conditions affecting the respiratory system.
- Offer preventative care and manage diagnostic testing and imaging results.
- Collaborate closely with Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to ensure comprehensive resident care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in our efficient electronic health records (EHR) system.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine, with an additional Board Certification in Pulmonary Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted medical and DEA licenses in the state of Michigan.
- Thorough training from a recognized U.S. residency program.
- A medical degree (MD or DO) from a reputable institution.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to interact effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and staff.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and an aptitude for utilizing advanced medical technologies.
