Key Responsibilities

  • Manage patient interactions via phone, online, and in-person, emphasizing exceptional service delivery.
  • Schedule appointments with efficiency to enhance patient experience and optimize office workflow.
  • Facilitate patient check-in/check-out procedures to create positive first and last impressions.
  • Handle daily operational workflows, including cancellations and recalls, with precision and timeliness.
  • Verify patient insurance details and ensure proper documentation for billing purposes.
  • Address patient concerns promptly, providing immediate service recovery when necessary.
  • Educate patients on their rights and responsibilities related to their care.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and clinicians to manage appointment scheduling based on patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate patient demographic and financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures to support billing and cash flow efficiencies.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in a patient-facing healthcare role or in customer service/hospitality.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance referral processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (bilingual capabilities are advantageous).
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and customer service aptitude.
  • Proficiency with basic mathematical and cash management tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Relevant experience in healthcare or hospitality sectors preferred.
