Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, patient-centered pulmonology care while rounding on patients in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs).
- Diagnose and manage diseases and conditions affecting the respiratory system and lungs.
- Provide preventative healthcare services to promote patient wellness.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
- Collaborate effectively with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to oversee daily patient care, benefiting from dedicated support at each facility.
- Utilize our intuitive electronic health record (EHR) system, ChartEasy™, for thorough documentation.
- Employ electronic tools, including EHR systems and relevant medical systems, to enhance administrative efficiency.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine.
- Valid medical license in Michigan and a DEA license.
- Successful completion of a U.S. residency program.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- State Controlled Substance License (if applicable).
- Reliable transportation to facilitate patient visits.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact with patients, management, and staff.
- Keen observational skills to ensure accurate medical assessments and treatment plans.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and navigate within facility environments efficiently.
