Key Responsibilities

- Cultivate robust relationships with key internal stakeholders to comprehend their strategic direction and business imperatives.
- Fulfill business requirements while maximizing value through cost improvements, risk management, and enhanced supplier interactions.
- Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
- Conduct thorough research, evaluation, and qualification of new suppliers to maintain competitive edges.
- Leverage cost models and benchmarking tools to assess supplier core competencies and market positioning.
- Ensure accurate and updated information management within procurement systems.
- Execute successful sourcing events, negotiations, and comprehensive market analyses.
- Negotiate supplier contracts, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), alongside continuous improvement efforts.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required to meet business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or supply chain.
- Over 10 years of strategic experience within the folding carton, board, or printing industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of folding carton board and substrate applications and specifications.
- Proven project management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to forge strategic partnerships and collaborate effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
- Strong analytical capabilities to identify opportunities that align with strategic objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, with a professional approach to sensitive matters.
- Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Flexibility to travel occasionally as necessary.
- A strong track record in building strategic partnerships and effective collaborations.
- Experience in managing projects successfully.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and analytical prowess.
