- Formulate, articulate, and execute effective procurement strategies tailored to assigned categories.
- Foster robust relationships with key internal stakeholders to fully comprehend their strategic objectives and business needs.
- Strive to meet business requirements while maximizing value through cost reductions, risk management, supply continuity, and supplier oversight.
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with essential suppliers.
- Conduct thorough research, assessment, and qualification of new suppliers to maintain competitive advantages.
- Analyze supplier competencies and market positioning through cost models and benchmarking tools.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation within our systems.
- Facilitate successful sourcing events, negotiations, and comprehensive market analyses.
- Negotiate supplier contracts that include KPIs, SLAs, appropriate pricing safeguards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- A Bachelor’s degree in business management or supply chain.
- Over 10 years of strategic experience in the folding carton, board, or printing industries.
- Extensive knowledge of folding carton board and substrate applications and specifications.
- Proven project management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborate effectively with both internal teams and suppliers.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on identifying opportunities aligned with business strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills to manage sensitive matters professionally.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business management or supply chain.
- A minimum of 10 years of strategic experience specifically in the folding carton, board, or printing sectors.
