Pay:18/Hr. 

Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri 

1st Day Onboarding will be held at a different location than training. Location will be disclosed during hiring process.

Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Oil Change and Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. As an integral part of our operation, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, primarily focused on oil changes and tire services. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, customer service orientation, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

What does an Oil Change and Tire Technician do?

• Perform oil changes on various types of vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance needs and recommend services to customers.
• Complete tire rotations, repairs, and replacements as required.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and ensure overall vehicle health.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service equipment and work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service recommendations and vehicle status.
• Uphold company standards for quality of service and customer satisfaction.
• Assist colleagues and team members as needed to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Experience:  

• Previous experience as an Oil change and Tire Technician or similar role preferred
• Knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and tools.
• Ability to operate relevant equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes.

• Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods;
• Must be able to lift and move inventory items and other work-related items (up to 50 pounds);

• Must be able to push, pull, bend at the knees and waist, lift, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, climb steps, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, all of this for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the day.
