Supply Chain Specialist

Job Summary

Spiffy is leading the way in creating innovative devices, equipment, and chemicals to service the automotive industry. We have many patented devices that range from vehicle deodorizers to tire scanners to handheld oil removal systems.

As a member of the Spiffy Hardware Operations team, you will help negotiate with vendors, vet new vendors, analyze inventory levels, present findings, and make suggestions directly to management on how to run a more effective operation across the devices and vehicle manufacturing business lines. his position will work full-time on-site assisting in the day to day operations of two fulfillment centers

Responsibilities:

• Ensure inventory levels are healthy across our product lines
• Manage creation of new SKUs and the organization of how those SKUs flow between systems.
• Place orders with vendors, perform stock checks, and optimize stock levels
• Assist engineering  sourcing alternative parts or vendors to help drive costs down without sacrificing quality. 
• Responsible for providing operational and logistical support to internal and external stakeholders not limited to creating reports, troubleshooting, and recommending process improvement tactics to enhance efficiency. 
• Additional duties will be added depending on organizational growth and/or individual interests

Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience performing vendor negotiations, procurement, and analyzing stock levels are required.
• Must have previous experience utilizing v-lookups and pivot tables within spreadsheets (excel or google sheets)
• A solid understanding of the supply chain management (SCM) process such as supply planning, product planning, demand planning, sales and operations planning.
• Preference given to those with experience in project management
• Previous experience configuring inventory systems such as NetSuite
• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant supply chain field OR 2-4 years of hands on experience in supply chain.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes.

• needed, climb steps, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, all of this for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the day.
