Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in order picking, shipping and receiving processes, and warehouse management systems.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage stock levels.
- Perform order fulfillment tasks including order picking and packing.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and receipts using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Load and unload products from trucks or containers as required.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize shipping processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling materials in the warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Experience with order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving processes is preferred.
- Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is a plus.
- Proficient in using RF scanners for tracking inventory.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and record keeping.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
