Data Quality Analyst

GETCHOICE! is looking for a Data Quality Analyst who will be responsible for reviewing information entered in the system against energy invoices and comparing for trends and data discrepancies. This role uses various analytic tools, such as Microsoft Excel, to uncover discrepancies, identify trends, and provide actionable insight. The Data Quality Analyst role requires a detail-orient and analytical mind, a knowledge of data analysis, discretionary decision-making skills, personal organization, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Data Verification & Validation:

• Review and resolve system generated outliers.
• Support in quarterly and annual audits of client’s data sets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Utilize Microsoft Excel and other data querying tools to extract and validate data.
• Correct errors within the company’s database to ensure reports area accurate for client’s review

Reporting & Analysis:

• Present detailed reviews of outliers that need to be elevated to the client management team and/or clients.
• Assist in identifying data error trends and provide recommendations for improvements

Process Improvement:

• Identify areas of inefficiency or system errors and make recommendations for improvements
• Support the development of data management best practices

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with client management and technical resources to resolve data and billing issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree preferred
• Proficient in Excel with familiarity with formulas/tools that include: Index/Match, VlookUp, If/Then, Pivot Tables, etc.
• Strong ability to analyze data sets, identify anomalies, and derive actionable insight
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Dependability and reliability and ability to work with others
• Self-motivated and a passion for problem-solving
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast pace environment
