Job Description
A strong Cath Lab Technologist is required to assist a traveler-friendly client in California.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Cath Lab Technology is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Function: Assist the cardiologist and other members of the cath lab team in providing quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and work areas for patient procedures.
- Assist in preparing patients for procedures and position them correctly for imaging.
- Monitor and operate fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and pressure monitoring equipment during procedures.
- Provide assistance to the cardiologist during procedures, including maintaining accurate records and communicating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Valid state license as a Medical Assistant or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more, as well as stand and walk for extended periods.
