Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Insurance Verification Specialist to join our customer service team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying client information, documenting customer interactions thoroughly, and assisting clients with resolving issues efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance terminology and customer service etiquette, as well as experience in fast paced environments. This is a full-time, In-person position.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls to address customer questions and provide accurate, helpful information
- Assist clients with resolving issues efficiently while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.
- Utilize modern tools and systems to streamline service delivery and maintain efficiency.
- Document customer interactions thoroughly to ensure seamless follow-ups and consistent service.
- Develop trust with clients by providing personalized and reliable support during every interaction.
- Work closely with colleagues and management to improve processes and deliver the best possible experience to clients.
- Participate in training to stay up-to-date on policies, procedures, and best practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service, call centers, or retail roles involving direct interaction with customers.
- Familiarity with customer service software (e.g., CRM tools), email platforms, and office software like the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple calls or inquiries daily while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and address customer concerns with care and patience.
- Experience communicating clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
