Occupational Therapist (OT) - Elementary School
Location: Howell, MI 48843
Start Date: 11/07/2024
Days per Week: 5 (Monday to Friday)
Hours per Week: 35 hours
Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Compensation: $46.00 per hour
Estimated Annual Salary: Approx. $65,000
Responsibilities:
- Deliver consultation-based OT services, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Assess and evaluate students' functional abilities in an educational environment
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Document student progress and communicate outcomes to educational teams
- Ensure compliance with Michigan state regulations and district policies
- Michigan OT License (required)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative educational setting
