| We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The Special Education Teacher will work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic and social success for all students. |
Key Responsibilities: |
| Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. |
| Assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies to meet individual needs. |
| Provide direct instruction and support in various settings, including one-on-one and small group instruction. |
| Collaborate with general education teachers to integrate students with disabilities into mainstream classrooms and facilitate accommodations. |
| Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and involvement in the IEP process. |
| Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, behavior, and other relevant information. |
| Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of behavior intervention plans. |
| Stay current with best practices in special education and participate in professional development opportunities. |
Requirements: |
Must be a fully credentialed Special Education Teacher in the state of Arizona. |
| Active IVP (Institutional Verification Program) Card. |
| Experience with IEP development and implementation. |
| Strong communication and interpersonal skills. |
| Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
| Experience working with a diverse range of disabilities and learning needs. |
| Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies and assistive technology. |
