Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Referee to officiate flag football games for children and youth leagues. Responsibilities
- Officiate flag football games, ensuring adherence to the rules and regulations of the sport.
- Communicate clearly with players, coaches, and spectators regarding calls made during the game.
- Monitor player conduct and enforce rules to maintain a safe playing environment.
- Manage conflicts with professionalism and fairness.
- Provide guidance to players on gameplay and sportsmanship.
- Collaborate with other referees and officials to ensure consistency in officiating.
- Attend pre-game meetings to discuss expectations and strategies with fellow officials.
Qualifications
- Experience in sports coaching or officiating, particularly in flag football, is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey decisions and instructions.
- Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and understanding.
- Ability to manage conflicts calmly and assertively in high-pressure situations.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including days and weekends as needed.
