Qualifications
Position Overview
The BDC Manager will lead the BDC associates to create an exceptional experience for customers. This role is responsible for selecting, training, coaching, developing and retaining the very best BDC Associates for the store. The BDC Manager will work with the General Manager and Sales Manager to ensure sales, the Gettel Way, driving performance, customer service, and increasing market share.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Leading BDC Sales team
- Setting a clear vision and goals for the sales team to achieve targeted performance in new and used vehicle sales and profit
- Ensuring that e-leads are handled timely, answering questions, providing information and ideally setting an appointment for a visit to the store
- Manage the follow-up with e-leads to assist them as needed through their research phase until ready for a vehicle purchase
- Ensure Customers are transitioned effectively from phone and internet contact to their in-store experience
- Analyzing the business to determine shortfalls and developing action plans to improve performance
Requirements for the position
- Requires a valid driver’s license, with an acceptable driving record, as determined by our insurance carrier.
- Must be able to meet the hour’s requirement for the position
- Must meet and strive to exceed acceptable CSI scores
- Managing and growing people in a department on a day to day basis
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proven success in ecommerce automotive sales
- Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
- Must display high energy, honesty, and integrity
