Gettysburg College is a highly selective national, four-year residential college of liberal arts and sciences located in Gettysburg, PA. The college, founded in 1832, has a student body of approximately 2,400 and is situated on a 200-acre campus adjacent to the Gettysburg National Military Park.
Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic clinician who is enthused about working with young adults to join our counseling and wellness team this winter. Our Clinicians are responsible for providing mental health care to students including assessments, short term counseling, crisis management and referral services. Clinicians also participate in outreach and prevention programs on campus. This is a full-time, temporary, on-site role in the Counseling and Wellness Center at Gettysburg College.
Qualifications
- Psychology, Social Work or mental health counseling experience
- Case Management skills
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
- PA Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, LPC or Psychologist (or working toward licensure)
- Training in anti-racist practice and trauma informed care preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
