Position Summary
Are you a people person? Do you enjoy daily interaction with familiar faces “where everybody knows your name”? The cashiers at Gettysburg College’s Retail Dining are more than just cashiers. They are the face of our operations. You will be the first and last person the customer sees when they come to dine with us. Gettysburg College is looking for a PM cashier to become part of a team that works hard every day to bring creative and nutritious meals to about 2000 students, faculty and staff daily.
Position generally works Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 11a-7 : 30p; Friday and Saturday 2p-10 : 30p during the academic year. Days off and hours vary during summer months.

Qualifications Prior cash handling experience required. You must have a positive attitude and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will work nights and weekends as scheduled. This position requires frequent standing, bending, reaching and walking, in addition to lifting up to 20 pounds.
