Gettysburg Flag Works, located in East Greenbush, creates and manufactures a wide variety of custom flags, flagpoles, and hardware accessories. We are seeking a Full-time, talented, and detail-oriented individual to add to our production team. We pride ourselves on being a company that works hard and still finds time to have fun as a team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Production printing:
- Inspects materials and equipment pre-production to ensure product quality
- Applies custom graphics to fabric using heat transfer/ dye sublimation printing techniques
- Inspects items post-production to ensure accuracy of print and quality standards
- Confirms integrity of orders by ensuring all pieces are accounted for
- Performs preventative maintenance of machines and understands when to refer machines for repair
- Meets established productivity and quality standards
- Cuts and process material using a large scale heat press
- Conducts weekly physical inventory of production supplies and communicates results to management
- Laser Cutting
Job qualifications will train the right candidate to become successful in this role. Those with attention to detail and a positive attitude are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in printing, screen printing, or production environment, preferred
- Prior Dye Sublimation machine printing preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to meet goals in a fast-paced environment
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Ability to read English, write legibly, and communicate effectively with others
- Familiar with Macs and Windows a plus
- Attention to detail and commitment to customer service
Exempt/Nonexempt Status: This is a nonexempt, hourly, and at-will employment position.
Physical Requirements: Reaching, bending, standing, lifting, sitting, and looking at computer screens for long periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
