Our tourism company is seeking a Tour Guide to work with our team of professionals who will be responsible for leading groups of travelers on walking tours throughout famous landmarks in the city. This position requires a person who has an extensive knowledge of the local area and is capable of clearly communicating information to large groups of people. The ideal candidate has a background in tourism or public speaking, and would enjoy working at an innovative and growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Answer questions about the area.
- Provide information about the attractions.
- Provide recommendations for the best activities to see and places to eat.
- Be able to calm a nervous tourist.
- Provide information about the company's policies.
- Have patience to deal with people who are constantly asking questions.
- Show guests where they need to go.
- Calm a crying child.
