We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Warehouse and Asset Operative to join our team at GEV Wind Power. This role is integral to supporting our wind turbine blade repair and servicing operations. You will be responsible for managing inventory, handling assets, and ensuring that materials and equipment are accurately tracked, stored, and prepared for field operations.
Job Description :
- Maintain and update accurate records of warehouse assets, including materials, tools, and equipment, using inventory management software and databases.
- Organize, monitor, and restock warehouse inventory, ensuring stock levels are kept up to date and sufficient for operational needs.
- Assist in the receiving and shipping of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring items are properly recorded, labeled, and dispatched.
- Ensure proper storage of items and assets, organizing them in a way that ensures accessibility, safety, and compliance with company standards.
- Perform routine checks on assets and inventory to ensure they are in good condition and ready for use.
- Inventory Replenishment : Assist in preparing and submitting restocking orders when inventory levels are low.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Ensure all inventory transactions (receiving, shipping, and asset movements) are accurately recorded and reported.
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely and efficient handling of materials and assets.
