The Role: We're looking for a full-stack Product Engineer who thinks deeply about user experience, cares about product details, and can transform ideas into elegant solutions. You'll work closely with product and design to build features that delight our users while maintaining technical excellence. This person will work closely with our AI/ML team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own features end-to-end, from conception through implementation
- Build elegant, performant full-stack solutions using Next.js and Node.js
- Collaborate with product and design to refine requirements and craft exceptional user experiences
- Contribute to technical architecture decisions and help establish best practices
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to our engineering culture
- Drive technical decisions that balance user needs, business goals, and engineering excellence
- Participate in product discovery and help shape our product roadmap
Technical Requirements:
- Deep expertise in Node.js and Next.js
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Must be extremely proficient in using LLM's as a co-pilot
- Experience building production React applications
- Understanding of API design and RESTful principles
- Familiarity with SQL databases and data modeling
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Knowledge of modern web performance optimization techniques
- Understanding of security best practices
Product Skills:
- Strong product intuition and taste for what makes great user experiences
- Ability to identify edge cases and think through user flows
- Experience collaborating with product managers and designers
- Track record of shipping features that users love
- Ability to make thoughtful product trade-offs
- Understanding of analytics and data-informed decision making
Nice to Have:
- Experience with GraphQL
- Knowledge of Redis or similar caching solutions
- Experience with real-time features and WebSockets
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI/CD practices
- Open source contributions
- Experience in health tech or wellness products
- Background in product management or UX design
- Experience with Flutter
