Position Summary: A Production Line Leader is a results-oriented individual that assures production targets are being met without compromising on quality. This individual would work with the Operations team to arrange the production schedule and execute to the plan while resolving any challenges that arise. The below job description outlines the essential duties and responsibilities and qualification for a Production Line Leader:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate production line(s) to meet customer requirements.
- Self-directed, requires minimal supervision, and engages others with a positive attitude.
- Provide day-to-day direction and training Technicians, as instructed by management.
- Work closely with the Production Manager and Production Planner to assign production technicians tasks.
- Evaluating incoming orders and setting up the production line accordingly.
- Optimizing production line efficiency by implementing continuous improvement projects and monitoring productivity (efficiency and utilization) and quality.
- Read blueprints, build of materials, and work instructions to properly complete work orders.
- Flexible to help in other operations as needed, including packaging units for shipment.
- Identifying and resolving production line problems in a timely manner.
- Performing material movement in ERP as needed to receive components or release finished goods.
- Assures proper material tracking and segregation of non-conforming material.
- Performing recordkeeping tasks, such as inventory management, order tracking, preventive maintenance, inspection reports, among others.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure that orders are completed on time.
- Effectively communicate and provide feedback regarding device defects and documentation changes.
- Maintaining a fully operational, safe, and clean work environment.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Provide a supporting role in the way of quality control.

Skills, Education and Knowledge Qualifications:
- Fluent in English and Spanish is highly desired.
- High School or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in factory or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Proven work experience as an Electronic Assembly Technician or similar role is required.
- Strong teamwork, time management, multi-tasking, prioritizing and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, organize, and prioritize job tasks to aid in satisfying customer requirements.
- Possess positive attitude and willingness to help.
- Goal oriented and self-motivated with ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Customer oriented and motivated with solid verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and level of accuracy in processing orders and maintaining records.
- Basic knowledge of electrical design and control circuits from proven work experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electronics & electro-mechanical assemblies from proven work experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow schematics, blueprints, and instructions as delivered for each product from proven work experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to learn new technology, procedures, and specifications.
- Proficiency in WMS and Microsoft Offices, specifically Microsoft Excel is highly desired.
- The qualified candidate must also possess the ability to work overtime, when necessary.
