Your job: We are looking for a SRAM Device Engineer (f/m/d) to contribute to our development and manufacturing activities in the integration department in Fab1 Dresden/Germany. You will be a member of a highly-skilled team working on SRAM devices. The task of the team is to define, co-develop and implement SRAM device improvements as well as maintain established SRAM devices in leading-edge CMOS technologies in agreement with customers’ needs. Your responsibilities: Ownership of SRAM bit-cells for different technology extensions. Own and co-optimize competitive SRAM devices to meet electrical, and reliability specifications at optimum yield levels. Clear understanding of SRAM bitcell design, electrical test structures, test conditions, and familiar with layout optimization techniques. Design layout and experiments dedicated to the continuous SRAM development for leading-edge CMOS technologies. Interface with device and integration teams on cross-functional issues affecting SRAM related performance, yield, or reliability impacting products. Communicate project status and results internally to GLOBALFOUNDRIES and occasionally to external stakeholders. Your Profile: Bachelor/Master Degree and/or PhD in Physics/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field. 1-2 years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry and preferably process integration and device knowledge of advanced CMOS nodes (40nm, 28nm or smaller). Preferably, but not a prerequisite, you have specific knowledge of SRAM device physics, SRAM bitcell design, and SRAM design technology co-optimization for SRAM arrays. Capability and deep interest in resolving complex technical problems. We are looking for a team player with strong communication skills who is able to efficiently exchange ideas and share results within and between teams with different technical background. We expect competence in both, written and spoken English as well as solid knowledge in use of standard office software (Excel/PowerPoint). Proficiency in German language is a plus. Willingness to travel. We offer: The position is open-ended and should be filled as soon as possible.
