What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Sales: Service + Success position at GF Machining Solutions LLC?
Your tasks
- Clearly define and implement a successful sales strategy that will guide sales to achieve objectives and company goals.
- Oversee all business areas of Service Sales. This includes Consumables, Success Packs, Preventive Maintenance, Digital Solutions, Upgrades. Develop reports and dashboards to support overall analysis of current and potential business levels. Goal is to maximize growth of Service revenue and profitability.
- Analyze sales statistics and business environment. Collaborate with Service Management Team to formulate strategic initiatives and promotions.
- Work with Consumables Team to actively monitor wire pricing and maintain structured price lists.
- Develop, implement, and maintain sales tools which increase the efficiency and effectiveness of S S Sales Team.
- Establish customer relationships and provide a communication link between the Regional Sales Managers, suppliers, dealer networks and company to help ensure that service offerings are competitive and result in optimal revenues and profits.
- Analyze and monitor sales forecast activity and profit margin performance and make the necessary changes in a timely manner to achieve goals. Work with Service Management to improve linear billing throughout each month.
- Work closely with Logistic Teams to ensure that adequate inventory levels are maintained and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Liaison with Service and Applications personnel and internal staff on customer issues.
- Visit sales territories and provide support on sales and customer support calls.
- Assist in the selling process to the extent necessary to secure the order.
- Comply with reporting duties consistent with position responsibilities.
- Prepare and distribute commission reports to Regional Sales Managers and inside sales representatives.
Your profile
- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in sales or business; and three to five years related sales management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior applications, engineering and/or machine tool sales management experience preferred.
- COMPUTER SKILLS Knowledge and proficient experience with Microsoft Office Systems, including Excel, Word and Power Point.
