What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tugger Operator position at GFA, Inc.?

We are currently looking for new team members with Warehouse experience.
Shift:
1st shift 6:30am – 6:30pm
2nd shift 6:30pm – 6:30am
However starting out we will have 8 hour shifts until the production ramps up.

What you will do on a typical day:
• After the order is pulled and checked the section lead will advise the tugger and will send to the
shipping dock to be scanned and prepared for delivery.
• As a Tugger Operator your responsibility is to make sure that all of the dollies are in the right
locations at the right times.
• We receive the dollies empty once we send back to the Customer loaded and we have multiple
sections that empties are taken to the correct section and dropped so that the order filler can pull
their order.
• Once the orders are complete and ready for shipping the Tugger Operator will pick up the Dollies
and deliver to the shipping dock to scan tech if needed and prepare for shipping.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
• Inventory: Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and
security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.
• Safety, Sanitation, Security: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining
the security of the warehouse.
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.
What you should have:
• Being able to push, pull, lift, bend, stoop and stand during your shift.
• Ability to lift 10/25 pounds consecutively.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to be at work on time and ready to work daily.
