Description:
GENERAL SUMMARY
A production position responsible for cleaning all areas of the facility thoroughly, with the key aim of enhancing the customer experience by having excellent standards of facility cleanliness.
SCOPE OF JOB FUNCTIONS
- Empty all waste containers (front offices/production offices/bathrooms)
- Dust all offices and clean facility windows
- Clean and mop lobby and reception area
- Clean/Sanitize Toilets/urinals/hand sinks
- Sweep/mop floors (production offices)
- Clean refrigerator (s)
- Vacuum
- Clean walls, doors/partitions of bathroom
- Clean inside of lockers
- Fill soap/towel dispensers (bathrooms/production floor)
- Dust blinds
- Wipe light switches
- Ensure facility grounds are maintained as needed
- Document all activities in Safety Chain
- Sweep warehouse as needed
- Perform cleaning and sanitation following all guidelines
- Participate as an active member of the Production Team
- Document duties as scheduled in the computer based system
- Follow all written and verbal production instructions and priorities
- Assist in finding coverage for shift to fill in for absences and vacations
- A good working and communication relationship with co-workers, warehouse personnel, the Production Supervisor and Manager
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience
- Effective verbal, listening, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work well with other departments in the company
- Ability to work off shifts, weekends, and holidays if required
- Self- directed
- Good attendance
- Knowledge of manufacturing environment and practices
