About the Role :

GFF is seeking Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to join our growing Education Studio to collaborate on many of the exciting education projects we are starting work on! We have positions available in our Dallas office and are open to discuss opportunities in our Austin and Fort Worth offices for people who seek to join and drive a diverse culture of an award winning mid-sized design firm.

We are looking for architects eager to work in a collaborative culture that combines innovative design with sustainability.

What You Will Do :

  • Lead multiple architectural projects concurrently, ensuring all project goals align with client requirements and company standards.
  • Guide projects from concept through construction documentation and completion, ensuring high-quality design and efficient project delivery.
  • Participates in client contact, business development, proposal development and contract negotiations
  • Develop, manage, and meet project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation across all design phases to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Monitor project budgets, adjust forecasts as needed, and work with stakeholders to mitigate risks and manage resources efficiently.
  • Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes, zoning laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks, both on documentation and on-site, to maintain design integrity and construction quality standards.

What You Will Bring :

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited university
  • 10-15 years of architectural experience with a focus on project management and proven track record of managing projects from design through construction administration successfully.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience working on education (k-12 or higher education) projects.
  • Professional registration required.
  • Experience leading entire Project teams including consultants.
  • Working knowledge of typical K-12 and / or Higher Education building types, materials, systems and technical detailing, and experience in all design / construction phases .
  • Working knowledge of specification writing and editing required
  • Passion working collaboratively with others and empowering others to use their talent
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills for multiple project assignments
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficiency in standard business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) required
  • Revit, BIM 360, Architectural Desktop (ADT) and Sketch-Up working knowledge required
