Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations by managing logistics processes, analyzing data, and implementing efficient transportation strategies. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and proficiency in relevant software tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics plans that align with organizational goals and customer requirements.
- Develop and implement transportation schedules to optimize day to day operations.
- Coordinate and collaborate with fellow planners, dispatch team, customers and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage timelines to meet delivery goals and meet requested needs.
- Search and acquire new customers and opportunities.
- Assist with the evolving growth in Logistics Department and Brokerage
- Will be a part of the On-Call rotation within Logistics Department.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and supply chain activities, making adjustments as necessary.
Requirements
- 1-3 Years experience in logistics or transportation.
- 1-3 Years experience in Planning or production scheduling.
- Experience in a Team Lead on managerial role.
- Motivated self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer skills, Logistic systems process and software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
