Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer provides hands-on engineering support to manufacturing processes, projects, and functions. This role plays a critical part in driving process improvements, supporting new product introductions (NPI), and implementing new equipment or procedures to enhance productivity and cost-efficiency. The position is an individual contributor role requiring sound judgment, professional expertise, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support to manufacturing processes and production activities.
- Evaluate manufacturing outcomes to identify and implement improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost.
- Support New Product Introductions (NPI) and the integration of new equipment and processes.
- Apply standard engineering principles and practices to solve complex technical problems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams including R&D, Quality, and Operations to ensure smooth process transitions.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- Understanding of engineering procedures, tools, and concepts within the manufacturing discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions based on experience and judgment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing or regulated industry preferred but not required.
