Job Title: Project Manager – Facilities & Manufacturing Equipment
Job Summary:
We are hiring two separate Project Managers for distinct roles. One will oversee large-scale facilities utility projects, including equipment moves and plant upgrades, while the other will lead the acquisition, development, automation, validation, and deployment of manufacturing and inspection equipment. Both positions require strong project management skills, the ability to manage resources effectively, and experience in medical device or manufacturing environments. Ideal candidates will have expertise in facilities infrastructure, manufacturing equipment, and validation processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Facilities Utilities Project Manager:
- Lead large-scale facility utility projects, including manufacturing equipment moves and plant upgrades.
- Oversee modifications to cleanroom spaces, dust collection systems, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) upgrades.
- Manage project resources, track expenses, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and external contractors to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and track project timelines, manage risks, and provide input on CER submissions and Gantt chart commitments.
- Conduct regular meetings, document project progress, and proactively address challenges.
Manufacturing Equipment Project Manager:
- Lead the acquisition, development, automation, validation, and deployment of machining and inspection equipment.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle for new manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Track project deliverables, manage budgets, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure proper validation and qualification of new equipment before deployment.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining communication of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Set up vendor meetings, track action items, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical device, facilities utility, or manufacturing equipment projects.
- Strong background in project management, validation, and automation.
- Experience working with vendors and external contractors.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make data-driven decisions.
Terms
- 12-month contract
- On-site in Mahwah, New Jersey
- Must be able to work on a W2
Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
