We are seeking a Scientist to join our client's Post Market Safety & Cosmetovigilance team at their research facility in Clark, New Jersey. This role supports cosmetovigilance operations in the U.S. and collaborates closely with teams across the Americas. The Scientist will manage the receipt, entry, and review of Adverse Events (AEs) for Over-the-Counter (OTC) and Cosmetic products, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and document potential health-related complaints (HRCs) in the Post-Marketing Safety database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile daily cases from the Consumer Care Center (CCC) and address discrepancies.
- Collaborate with global teams for data validation and analysis.
- Provide database training and support for team members within the Americas zone.
- Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work processes.
- Prepare statistical reports, extract data for analysis, and support global safety reviews.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in case processing or pharmacovigilance.
- Familiarity with MedDRA coding and U.S. Post-Marketing Safety regulations is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
