- Prior ready mix experience and Command Alkon experience required.
- 5-7 Years of dispatching experience, specifically within transportation (dispatching trucks/loads).
- Must be willing to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using Command Alkon.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Previous experience in logistics or dispatch operations is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be willing to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
- Assist the Dispatch Manager in overseeing daily dispatch operations, including oversight of dispatch team.
- Coordinate with drivers and dispatch personnel to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure compliance with schedules.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and prepare reports as needed.
- Support the training and development of dispatch staff.
- Implement and adhere to safety and operational procedures.
