We are seeking a motivated, Day Shift Diesel/Heavy Duty Mechanic who will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining diesel engines in our fleet of equipment. 5 years of diesel mechanic experience is required.

5 years of diesel mechanic experience, particularly with mixers is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. We are also looking for STRONG after treatment, engine rebuild, and diagnostic experience. You should also be proficient with Mack trucks. The following would also be required to work for GFT:

Job Duties
Some job duties include but are not limited to:
- Climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, and frequent lifting of tires 50lbs ,
- Safety at all time while working on equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections (PM) and repairs on all equipment, to include tractors, trailers, mixers, dump trucks, loaders, skid steers and various other yellow iron
- Inspect, troubleshoot and diagnose minor and/or major complex repairs for all equipment
- Disassemble, repair and re-assemble of heavy truck and trailer components, including but not limited to: mixers, diesel engines, transmissions, axels and any other components or systems
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Get paid weekly!
- Hourly pay, between $35-$45/hr depending on experience

5 years of diesel mechanic experience, particularly with mixers is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. We are also looking for STRONG after treatment, engine rebuild, and diagnostic experience. You should also be proficient with Mack trucks. The following would also be required to work for GFT:
- Must be able to work a day shift (we can be flexible with start time) and willing to work at least 2 Saturdays a month
- Basic to intermediate electrical experience
- Diagnostic software experience required, such as Tech Tool, J Pro, Cummins
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid license
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must pass a background check
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Safety conscious
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including the ability to work overtime, nights and/or weekends as needed
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Be a self-starter
