Summary Description
This role will be a strategic partner to the Chief Commercial Officer/General Manager for North America and the Chief Financial Officer, who will support their direct reports and teams. This role influences leadership and drives results for all human resource strategies. It is the resident expert on organization design, people management, workforce planning, and talent management, partnering with leaders throughout the NA Sales and CFO’s organizations and the HR Centers of Excellence of Talent Development and Total Rewards. This role sits on the North America Leadership Team, ensuring we deliver against the region’s growth goals. This role will be the primary HR contact for our Canadian & growing Australian Country teams, ensuring we can support the teams from a distance. This role partners and collaborates with other parts of the Global HR team (US Centers of Excellence & UK-based HR team) to align the HR work with business requirements. Successful HRBP Director Candidate will act as an employee and culture champion, strategic business partner, and change agent. The HRBP leverages partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect the organization's business objectives. This role sits on the Gorilla Glue HR Leadership Team and partners with the CHRO to drive HR strategy development and delivery across the organization.

What will your day look like?

Drives the talent management strategy for the assigned business unit(s)/departments, including helping to drive workforce plan, convert business strategies into talent strategies, and define best ways to build organizational capabilities through building inside talent or securing outside talent.

Uses HR data/Workforce analytics to derive insights and drive HR strategies/ programs for Sales & CFO organizations to help attract, develop, and retain talent.

Supports key customers in Organizational Development, Change Management, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, Leadership Coaching, Performance Management and Compensation.

Identifies business unit development and/or training needs and individual executive coaching needs.

Comfortably thinks outside the box and challenges the status quo respectfully and courageously to deliver results in a dynamic environment.

Guide key customers/leaders on HR-related concerns such as employee performance/behavior and basic employment law compliance for the US, Canada, and Australia.

Qualifications
What you bring to the table:

Formal experience and expertise in Organizational Design & Development, Change Management, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, Leadership Coaching, Performance Management and Sales Compensation

Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8-10 years of HR Business Partnering or related HR experience, supporting and influencing Sr. Leaders.

Extensive experience partnering with Business Leaders on talent development, management, and coaching leadership skills.

Experience in supporting Sales & Commercial leadership teams is preferred.

Strong commitment to personal development, learning, and continuous improvement within HR and professionally.

Demonstrated ability to use HR data/Workforce analytics to derive insights and drive HR strategies/ programs.

Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive strategic initiatives with Business Leaders and the teams you support.
