Located in the heart of the Tulsa Arts District, Fly Loft & LowDown focuses on supporting performing artists and other organizations. Fly Loft offers three versatile studios available for rent, specifically for performing arts events and rehearsals. Additionally, Fly Loft has a conference room with TV, audio capabilities, and privacy, available for hourly rental.
Position Overview:
The Host will serve as the primary point of contact for Fly Loft guests utilizing rehearsal spaces and setting the tone for ensuring a seamless and professional experience. The host will facilitate access, monitor room reservations, and address on-site needs while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. While at LowDown, you will ensure smooth entry, assist with seating, handle ticketing needs, and contribute to the club’s overall ambiance. This role requires strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, a commitment to exceptional service and the ability to thrive in a dynamic live entertainment environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a representative of Fly Loft and LowDown, providing a welcoming and professional experience for all guests, staff, performers and partners.
- Verify guest access to reserved rehearsal spaces, maintain an accurate schedule of room reservations, and ensure proper accommodations while addressing any immediate questions or concerns.
- Verify guest reservations and direct (or escort as needed) them to their designated seats.
- Provide guests with information about seating, performances, and general club policies.
- Address and resolve basic ticketing issues or guest concerns; escalate to club management as needed.
- Process ticket sales for walk-up guests using the club’s digital box office system (iPad) in a cashless transaction environment.
- Troubleshoot minor technical or facility-related issues and escalate unresolved concerns to the Fly Loft Office Coordinator.
- Communicate any security concerns promptly to the on-site security guard and report updates as necessary.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Guthrie Green and LowDown team regarding space usage, guest needs, and operational updates.
- Uphold a clean, organized, and professional environment within the rehearsal spaces and club entrance area.
- Represent Guthrie Green and LowDown with professionalism, maintaining a courteous and service-oriented demeanor.
- Uphold and support the mission and values of GGP Parks LLC., in all interactions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Available to work nights and weekends.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or event coordination is a plus.
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate scheduling systems.
- Experience with or ability to quickly learn ticketing systems, including iPad-based platforms.
- Knowledge of or ability to familiarize oneself with show schedules, seating arrangements, and general club policies.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in an environment with varying lighting, sound levels, and scents.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. as needed.
