We are Farmacy Berkeley and we are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to support our store.

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for providing support, analysis, and recommendations to ensure operational efficiency at the store and delivery level; and supports store management on a wide range of compliance regulation, policy and procedures and inventory related responsibilities.
The Inventory Specialist takes responsibility for all Back of House and Inventory activities in conjunction with store leadership and assists the Specialist Team by working with Store Management to perform daily operational functions.
In adherence to all compliance regulations governing the purchasing and selling of cannabis and non- cannabis product, the Inventory Specialist will support store management to oversee all facets of policy and procedures and operational administrative duties in relation to inventory and product.
Core Responsibilities:
- Sales & Profitability
- Help drive store’s profitability by guiding team members in delivering a positive and friendly experience by engaging the customer through thoughtful conversation and exceptional
- Prioritizes and communicates department issues to the Inventory & Compliance
- Ensure vendor/distributor deliveries and vendor/distributor payment pickups are optimized for maximum effectiveness.
- Partner with store leadership to educate and communicate hourly and daily goals to drive
- Supports and assists floor coverage including breaks and lunches in accordance with business needs, traffic trends and Meal Break Policy.
- Prioritizes and communicates department insights to the Inventory & Compliance
· Operations
- Supports and leads the team to perform all store level operational procedures accurately and in a timely fashion, in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
- Support store goals by training in loss prevention awareness and overseeing adherence to loss prevention practices.
- Assists in leading the team in shipping and receiving process and complete shipment turnaround
- Assists in ensuring all operational tasks are
- Maintains backstock areas (clean and organized).
- Ensure compliance with all DCC, State and City
- Ensure compliance with company emergency and safety procedures to protect employees and customers from accidents and incidents.
- Consistently evaluate current processes to ensure they are streamlined and
- Support of all operational tasks regarding menus; images, naming conventions,
- Support of Inventory Report generation and distribution by 3pm PST every

· Communication

· Store Environment
- Support the Store and Delivery Team to maximize sales through analytical and creative management of merchandise from receipt to sale.
- Exhibit excellent floor presence by training the store team on customer standards, product placement and time management.
- Support the store to maximize sales through analytical and creative management of merchandise from receipt to sale.
- Support the team by contributing to the maintenance of all product stock
- Guides team to uphold company customer service standards.
· Merchandising and Display
- Collaborate with General Manager and Store Leadership to enhance the store environment and efficiently execute all inventory and merchandising projects.
- Collaborate with General Manager and Store Leadership to ensure fast and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
- Ensure a neat, clean, and organized store
- Exhibit a familiarity with current product and trend

Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum one year of inventory experience.
- Previous retail experience
- A. preferred, but experience is paramount.
- Experience working in a highly regulated businesses is

- Uphold excellent consumer service skills and a service orientated
- Achieve statistical results (sales, inventory accuracy, shrinkage).
- Previous cannabis experience
- Must be 21 years old
