Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Assistant to manage and execute all transactions within our internal ERP system (Business Central). This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely creation of production orders for supervisors across various production lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERP systems, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

· ERP Transactions: Utilize Business Central to create and manage production orders, ensuring that all orders are accurately entered and processed according to production schedules and requirements.
· Order Management: Work closely with production supervisors to gather and verify production order details, including materials, quantities, and schedules. Ensure that all orders are properly documented and reflect the latest production plans.
· Data Accuracy: Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail when entering data into the ERP system. Regularly review and reconcile production orders to identify and correct any discrepancies or errors.
· Coordination: Coordinate with production supervisors to ensure that their production orders are fulfilled in a timely manner. Address any issues or changes promptly and communicate updates effectively.
· Reporting: Generate and review reports related to production orders and ERP transactions. Provide insights and updates to management on order status, production progress, and any potential issues.
· Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to the ERP transaction process to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Participate in training and development to stay current with ERP system updates and best practices.
· Compliance: Ensure that all transactions and production orders comply with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations.
· Use required PPE per OSHA regulations
· Perform other duties as assigned
Competencies:

· Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a production or administrative role, preferably with experience using ERP systems like Business Central.
· Skills:
- Proficiency in Business Central or similar ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic understanding of production processes and terminology is a plus.
· Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP transaction processes and production order management. Understanding industry regulations and company policies related to production is beneficial.
Education and/or Experience
· High or GED required
· Requires 2 years of related experience
· Experience in working in the cannabis industry, or alternatively, in a highly regulated CPG/F&B industry
Required:
· Must be 21 years old.
· Must be a self-starter with minimal supervision, able to work independently and in a team environment
· This position requires a 40-hour minimum work week
· Flexible availability for work hours.
· Willingness to work weekends.
