Summary
QA/QC Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the standards across the production facility, supporting, and implementing the Quality Management System. This includes document & product control, product identification, production analyses, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

- Maintains and supports the Quality Management System (SQF, ISO).
- Maintains records of Document Control, New Product Planning, Non-conforming Product Control, etc.
- Perform qualitative analysis of product at all stages of production.
- Perform chemical analysis of raw materials and finished products using Analytical Equipment.
- Troubleshoot production processes and laboratory equipment.
- Analyze test results and notify the Production Manager/General Manager of results that are out of specification.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing and Documentation practices as defined by regulatory government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with all requirements and regulations in the cannabis space.
- Performs work in quality fashion.
- Must maintain satisfactory attendance.
- Communicates any issues immediately to supervisor.
- Understand and follow safety rules, standards, practices, and policies.
- Collaborate with Product Development as well as the R&D departments.
- Responsible for mentoring and training lab technicians on the correct use of lab equipment.
- Analyzing abnormal quality results to find the root of irregularity and coordinating efforts to implement countermeasures.
- Assures consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good manufacturing practices systems.
- Report discovered defects to all relevant departments for correction.
- Responsible for ensuring product and regulatory requirements are met.
- Perform other work as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
- High school or GED.
- Requires 3 years of related experience.
- Experience with Cannabis related equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree or Associates preferred.
- Laboratory experience.
- Familiarity with operation and maintenance of HPLCs.
- Experience in a QA/QC environment.
- Experience with food safety in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and mathematical skills.
Required:
- Must be 21 years old.
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Must be a self-starter with minimal supervision, able to work independently and in a team environment
- This position requires a 40-hour minimum work week
- Flexible availability for work hours.
- Willingness to work weekends.
