What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counter Sales position at GH Slack & Son?
High paced construction supply company is seeking a full time inside sales/counter salesperson. Construction sales or installation background/knowledge in specifically doors, frames and hardware is preferred. Applicant needs to be able to articulately converse with both customers and vendors to ensure product orders are taken and ordered accurately and timely. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn point of sales computer program is required. The ability to pull items from stock (possible heavy lifting) to fill orders for customers, quote pricing and prepare invoices within our point of sale program. Advise customers on correct product and ensure orders are place complete. Be able to build and maintain customer relationships. Actively participate in the daily operation of the branch by demonstrating a team player attitude and positive work environment. Hourly wage will be BOE.
