Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven B2B Account Manager to join our team. As a B2B Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our business clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service, and identifying opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of B2B sales and customer management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key business clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Account Growth & Retention: Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services that benefit the client while contributing to company revenue targets.
- Client Onboarding & Support: Guide clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to active account management. Provide ongoing support and ensure any issues are addressed quickly and efficiently.
- Strategic Account Planning: Work with clients to understand their business goals and objectives, and develop tailored strategies to help them achieve those goals while using your company’s products or services.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure proper handover of accounts and to provide insight into opportunities for new business.
- Reporting & Analysis: Monitor account performance and provide regular reports on account status, including key metrics, growth, and satisfaction. Use data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Problem Solving: Act as the primary point of contact for client issues, working to resolve problems and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- Market & Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices to provide valuable insights to clients and adapt strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in B2B account management, customer success, or a related sales role.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools.
- Analytical skills to assess account performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
