Job Description
We are seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Engineering Design Organization for this upcoming summer. As an Intern, you will assist our Engineers and Project Managers on various tasks associated with multiple projects, including water distribution, sewer collection, pumping station, roadways, stormwater, and all aspects of linear focused design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Researching code and regulatory requirements
- Researching design options, component specifications, and document findings
- Assisting with CADD drawings
- Performing analysis and design retrofit of new and existing facilities
- Exposure to active construction projects
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Civil/Environmental Engineering Bachelor's or Master's degree program
- Understanding of Engineering fundamentals
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Ability to learn on the job and apply theory in a practical setting
- Able to manage several tasks at once and determine priorities
- Involvement in professional organization(s) preferred
