Who are we looking for?
Our Southeast Environmental business is looking for an Environmental Permitting Lead to join their team! In this role, you'll work closely with our multi-discipline team to provide permitting support on a variety of federal civil works and environmental projects in the region.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in :
- Creating, developing and maintaining client relationships
- Leading all aspects of NEPA environmental document development.
- Leading internal and external coordination with project team members, including other discipline areas involved with the project
- Conducting / directing research on issues, policies, and concepts pertaining to planning and formulating recommendations
- Leading planning processes and technical solutions that best meet the project needs
- Creating project presentation materials, concepts, graphics, and reports to the client and community groups.
- Responsible for significant portions of presentations and public facilitation including public meetings / hearings / community workshops
- Coordinating and participating in the preparation of scopes of work, fee proposals, and responses to RFP's for projects
- Leading interactions with Army Corps of Engineers, Environmental Protection Agency, Fish and Wildlife Services, National Marine Fisheries Services, and other Federal regulatory agencies.
- Mentoring & assisting staff in career development
- Performing other duties as assigned
