GHD is seeking an intermediate Engineer / Geologist / Scientist to work with our Contaminated Assessment Remediation (CAR) group as a CAR professional. This position can be based out in multiple GHD offices across de U.S. (Des Moines, Iowa, Chicago, IL, Topeka, KS, West Chester (Cincinnati), Ohio, Farmington Hills (Detroit), MI, Plainwell, MI, Indianapolis, IN, St. Paul, MN, Omaha, NB and St. Louis, Missouri).

Responsibilities of the position will be but are not limited to :
- Provide technical and project management services to our existing and future clients on a variety of projects
- Prepare technical correspondence, project proposals, technical reports, work plans, and project specifications including cost estimates and budgets
- Data compilation, reduction, interpretation, evaluation / comparison to environmental regulatory standards
- Interact with internal and external clients, contractors and service providers
- Conduct environmental sampling and monitoring for various media and contaminants of concern by following established procedures
- Be available for occasional after hours response to environmental emergencies to perform field tasks.
- Participate in a proactive safety culture of continuous improvement
- Client engagement approach and stewardship
- Complex problem solving as it relates to environmental remediation and economic decision making
- Balancing the triangle of Scope, Schedule, and Budget to produce the best results possible for our clients
- Diverse professional networks spanning the globe and multitudes of disciplines
