Who are we looking for?
We're looking for an Environmental Engineer, Civil Engineer or Environmental Scientist to join our Environmental team in Western NY! In this role, you will work alongside our senior staff to develop your professional skills within our Waste Management, Environmental and Compliance service lines.
This position can be based in either Buffalo, NY or Niagara Falls, NY .

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in :
- Performing a wide variety of field duties for both routine / scheduled and emergency environmental projects to include : inspection, maintenance, monitoring, construction oversight, air monitoring, to support on going operations of municipal solid waste facilities.
- Conducting environmental sampling and monitoring for various media and contaminants of concern by following established procedures
- Opportunity to respond to environmental emergencies to perform field tasks.
- Work with senior staff in the preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, technical reports, work plans, and project specifications including cost estimates and budgets - Data compilation, reduction, interpretation, evaluation / comparison to environmental regulatory standards
- Support senior staff in development of Permit Applications / Renewals as related to operations of municipal solid waste facilities and industrial facilities
- Support activities associated with design, construction, and operation of Landfill Gas Control (LFG) and biogas collection and control systems including but not limited to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) plants
- Support clients with in-house EHS / permit compliance tasks, including updating SPCCs / SPRs, SPDES permitting / inspections / compliance, chemical and petroleum bulk storage compliance, TRI reporting, etc.
- Coordination of routine sampling projects and reporting for post-closure Site monitoring for both brownfield and solid waste sites

Salary Range : $69,000-$71,000 based on experience.
