Your Responsibilities
- Prepare preliminary and detailed design engineering drawings, extracted from 3D project models, and coordinate with project team members
- Perform project tasks and make technical decisions in conjunction with design engineers and project managers
- Prepare drawing lists and estimate design effort in support of proposals
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's Degree in Drafting/Design, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater treatment project design, preferably in industrial and/or municipal settings
- Proficiency in AutoCAD v.2022 or higher and working knowledge of laser scan point clouds, Plant 3D, Navisworks, and/or Revit
- Ability to create 3D models and orthographic drawings that adhere to industry standards
- Skills in using project management techniques, including planning, scheduling, documentation, and presentation of ideas
- Experience with Autodesk BIM360/ACC is an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in both team-based and independent environments
