GHD has an opportunity for a Technical Director to join our growing EHS Compliance Business Group. If you are a self-motivated professional with excellent technical skills, federal / state / local EHS regulatory and H&S standard knowledge, team building skills, and existing relationships with clients, prospects, and regulators then this is a great opportunity to explore!
Specific responsibilities will include :
- Collaboration with other Team Leaders, Regional Environment Market Leaders, Service Line Leaders, and Business Group Leaders to grow the EHS compliance business in the Midwest Region
- Development and execution of business strategies and initiatives to expand EHS compliance services to new clients ensuring business growth
- Identify, develop, and execute strategies to capture new business with major clients including business development, strategic initiatives, and sales development
- Build and mentor a team that is engaged and driven to provide high-quality results and solutions to our clients' projects and challenges
- Maintain a high external profile through membership / attendance in industry organizations, continually growing contact base
- Maintain high internal profile through EHS project pursuits, wins, and delivery
- Cross-collaboration across GHD's Business Groups and Service Lines to promote seamless client delivery
- Lead proposal development and contract negotiation to win targeted pursuits, which leverage GHD's capabilities and value proposition
- Technical project management and direction while maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring projects are delivered safely and within scope, schedule, and budget
