Ghent Fit Norfolk is the best 1:1 private personal training experience in Hampton Roads. Personal trainers work one-on-one with clients in a private boutique setting in historic Ghent. This unique working environment allows trainers to best support and cater to the individual needs of their clients, design and implement customized exercise programming, develop professional skills alongside a collaborative and growth-oriented team, and build a sustainable client base with the support of a designated sales and social media team.

Required Experience, Education, and Certifications:
- Preferred: Bachelors of Science degree in a health-related field (exercise science, exercise physiology, kinesiology, health sciences, public health, chemistry, biology, psychology, etc.)
- Required: Nationally recognized personal training certification
- Required: CPR/AED certified
- Required: 1-year personal training experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Available Monday - Friday afternoon-evening, with some scheduling flexibility and consistent opportunities to grow client base.
- Full-time: 3:30 - 10:15 PM
- Part-time: 5:45 - 10:15 PM
- Saturday morning availability preferred but not required (must be available 1 Saturday/month for the first year).
- Create safe and effective exercise programs customized to the needs of each client.
- Safely execute exercise programs for all clients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed digital records of all programming.
- Maintain and record schedules accurately.
- Ability to plan for and communicate any time off (holidays, personal days, vacations).
- Communicate effectively to clients, co-workers, and management.
