Ghirardelli Associates is currently looking to hire a Marketing Assistant. This position will be based out of our Roseville office. This is an opportunity to work with an experienced team of professionals!
Position Summary:
The Marketing Assistant supports the Marketing/Business Development Department by assisting in tracking and responding to Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) and Requests for Proposals (RFP), maintaining marketing materials, coordinating marketing activities, and maintaining the pursuit database. This role involves working closely with pursuit teams, clients, and subconsultants to promote the firm's services for various public agencies throughout California. The Marketing Assistant embodies the values of Integrity, Respect, Collaboration, and Excellence in all aspects of their work.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Included but not limited to...
- Assist in preparing and submitting Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) and Proposals, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Maintain and keep up to date team project resumes, project descriptions, and various marketing related information.
- Conduct market research to assist with identifying new business opportunities and support marketing/business development strategies.
- Assist in preparing for project interviews and presentations, ensuring all materials are ready and well-organized.
- Client relationship management (CRM) database maintenance and update.
- Maintain and complete yearly firm certifications.
- Assist in developing and maintaining supplies of marketing collateral and promotional items
- Provide support for client and Ghirardelli events, including invitations, set-up, onsite arrangements and registrations
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing or related field strongly preferred.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience desired.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills (both oral and written).
- Strong writing abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and various virtual platforms (MS Teams, Zoom, Webex, Google Meet).
- Ability to multitask, collaborate, self-motivate, and organize effectively.
- Ability to establish good relations with clients and colleagues; involvement in industry-related organizations is a plus.
- Enthusiastic, creative, detail-oriented, and professional, with a strong sense of teamwork.
- Self-motivated and capable of meeting project deadlines under tight time constraints.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Some travel may be necessary

Wage Range:
$25.00- $37.00 /per hour
