We have partnered with a well-known nonprofit organization in Greater Los Angeles to identify the newest member of their Accounting & Finance team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for daily accounting duties and financial activities. \n- Assist with month-end close
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Accounts Receivables, billing, payment reconciliations and AR aging reconciliations
- Assist with Accounts Payables as needed
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Weekly cash flow analysis
- Assists in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements
- Preparing and maintaining financial records, liabilities, P/L, tax liabilities, and other related activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with government contracts and grants preferred
- Nonprofit and/or healthcare experience is a plus
- Experience in MIP Abila Financial software or similar software preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
