Job Title: CT Technologist
About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals on a per diem basis in Manhattan, New York.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans for patients under the guidance of a radiologist or physician assistant.
- Operate and maintain CT scanners and other imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Develop and implement procedures for ensuring patient comfort and minimizing radiation exposure.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results and provide diagnostic information.
- Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay current with advancements in CT technology and patient care.
Requirements:
- A valid, unrestricted license to practice as a CT Technologist in any US state or territory.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- A registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- At least one year of recent experience as a CT Technologist in a like setting.
